2012 Olympics Women's Volleyball

Olympic Games is a major sports event participated by thousands of athletes all over the world. One of the sports in Olympics is Volleyball. The qualification for the 2012 Women's Olympic Volleyball Tournament is already done (November 20, 2011-June 10, 2012).

There are 12 teams that will compete in Olympics (for Women's Volleyball). The host country;

The top 3 of the 2011 World Cup; The Champions of the Continental Qualification Tournament (African,  European, North American and South American; The top 3 of the World Qualification Tournament; and 1 from the Asian Qualification Tournament.

The host country is Great Britain.

2011 World Cup

The 2011 World Cup was held in Japan last November 4-18.

The North American Qualification was held in Mexico from April 29-May 5.

The last in team who will going to compete in 2012 London Olympics is Japan (4th place in WQT) because they are the Asian team (except the top 3 winners) qualified as the winner of Asian Qualification Tournament.
